Who qualifies for home care services?

Medicare pays 100% including routine supply and DME(Durable Medical Equipment) such as Walker, Wheel Chair, Bed-side Commode, Hospital beds etc.

To be eligible to receive skilled home care services and DME (Skilled Nursing, Physical, Occupational, Speech Therapies, Medical Social Services and Home Health Aide, patients must meet several criteria, including:

• Must have a homebound status (difficulty leaving or moving about without assistance).

• Must be under the care of a physician.

• Must require additional care following a recent hospital or nursing home discharge.

• Must have intermittent short-term health needs.
